Here’s the swatch for the Essie - Lapis of Luxury. The shade of the lacquer is a very rich sky blue color the applies very easily. On my nails I had 3 coats, but it would have went just as well with 2 coats. The first coat is a little bit streaky because the formula is slightly thin, but by the second coat, almost all of the lines are blended away. Adding a third coat is not 100% necessary but it does improve the overall color payoff.

I also found that removal of the lacquer was really easy as well. It only took several swipes to fully remove all color from my nails. In the swatches, I didn’t use any top coats to show how the color looks by itself.

At almost $9 for each bottle of 15 mL, I found that to be fairly expensive. But because I can’t find Essie here for any cheaper I decided to take the splurge anyways. I have yet to own any lacquer of this color and I think it would be a great color for spring and any future manicures. If you guys know of any dupes for a cheaper price please let me know! :) I hope you guys enjoyed this review!
